Two Weeks of Napping (Sort Of)

March 9th, 2007  |  Published in productivity, pzizz, shame

I am horrible about starting a new (good) habit. In the two weeks since getting pzizz, I’ve only managed naps on three days. On those days, though, I definitely felt much more mentally alert and found it a lot easier to deal with my ADD. I really need to find a way to work this into my daily routine on a more consistent basis. Unfortunately, I have a hard time turning down lunch with my friends/co-workers to give myself time for a quick snooze.

Um…OK

An Evangelist at Microsoft thinks that “the Browser is on life support” due to Apollo, WPF/e, and their kin. Wow. Is it just me or is that a pretty big leap?

Browsers were definitely not the first way to interact with the internet, but they have persisted due to the (fairly) easy to understand page abstraction. If Flash is any indication, these technologies are pretty painful for the average user, because they take away a lot of the things that are baked in to the browser experience (bookmarks, for example).

[Update] Removed the screen grab and ad hominem attack. ;)
