&lt;p&gt;One certainty in life is that people will always get annoyed with new words, even when they are easily defined and fill a gap in the vocabulary. Just like people who sniffed their noses at "Ajax" because it wasn't new or because it meant the same as DHTML or some other reason. Or "blogs", "patterns", whatever.&lt;/p&gt;
